Back Home. Hey, it's fall!

Looks like fall gently fell in Seattle while we were away. My sun tinged skin is burning slightly, keeping me warm. My comical facial suntan shows the exact lines from my sunglasses.

Back at home. Back at "work". Back to the rat race.

Our jack-o-lanterns are already moldy and caved in. It feels like Christmas is just around the corner.

We bought a ton of hardwood to install downstairs about a year ago, so we finally had it put in while we were gone last week. We moved all of our furniture out of the way before the installation, but everything is now covered in dust. We have limited childcare for the next two weeks, so we're going to try to use the time to paint some walls, throw curtains up and make it look like we live here.

We're hosting my family for Christmas Eve, so I'm prettying the house in preparation.

Congratulations again to Brody for finishing his final iphone project required for his undergrad degree at Columbia.

Maybe my coffee wasn't strong enough today because I'm feeling a little out of touch. So much to do, but I'm in slow motion. Good news though, it's time to get ready for my soccer game. Maybe some friendly ball kicking will help me bounce back.

Party on.
