Gullible? Moi?
A jackalope in the wild.
During a family vacation to Jackson Hole, Wyoming when I was little, we learned all about jackalopes. Trying to understand how jackalopes came to be was like putting a round peg into a square hole; like mentally chewing peanut butter.
But I believed, until my older and wiser brother broke the news to me... yesterday.
Jackalopes are the sick creation of a couple guys who learned taxidermy from a mail order catalog in the 1970's, and that's a fact.
Even now, I googled "jackalope" and was bombarded with yet more fantastic stories and photos of the elusive creatures. One person trying to defend the existence of jackalopes said, "if you don't believe me, Google it!"
Because everything on the Interweb is true.
