Birthday Picnic

I'm sitting in my office, alone enjoying a birthday picnic.

I'm lunching on leftovers from the 4th of July on red, white and blue paper plates, with a blue plastic fork and a napkin with stars on it.

I just finished a macaroni salad and now I'm grubbing on some amazing cheeses. I don't know what they are... but there are three kinds and one of them is spicy and so good! (Thanks mom!)

I've also got some damn good cherries; Rainiers? They're reddish and yellow. They're perfectly ripe and cold cause they've been in the fridge.

Plus candied pecans I intended to add to a salad last weekend, but didn't.

The cheeses are salty and sour and then the cherries are sweet and cold and the pecans are crunchy and sugary... happy berfday to me.

And lastly, a piece of birthday cake made by Lauren! Dude #2~ thanks again for this chocolate cake. It's thick and gooey and so good! I need to grab some milk.
